Production of Bacteriorhodopsin
- These days some scientists have tried to get some substances from living things and replace the existing elements with these substances for better performance. This trend is actively happening in the electronics business, one of the most advanced industries.
There have been many innovations in the area of development of switching device by using the semiconductor or in the high density integrated technology. However, due to the discharge of heat of electron or the vibration of electron in the integration of circuits, the breakthrough in technology was difficult.

BKB Co., LTD has got the patent of production of the Bacteriorhodopsin(BR) , which is called as a protein of semiconductor device as it will become the material for next generation semiconductors.
