Project Overview
The project site is conveniently located 7.6km southeast of Yangon City Hall, 15km from Yangon Port, and 40km southeast of Yangon Airport.
Execution investor BKB and operating investor Korea Western Power formed a consortium to acquire the construction and operating rights to a gas combine cycle power plant from the Myanmarese government. The power plant is set to produce electricity from June 2020 to supply power to Thilawa Industrial Zone and downtown Yangon.
